Resilience and Gender-Based Violence in the Blue Pacific.
The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence Campaign is an annual international campaign that starts on 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and runs until 10 December, Human Rights Day.

To mark the beginning of the 16 Days Activism Campaign and in support of the Thursdays in Black movement, Pacific Islands Forum as part of the Pacific Partnership to End Violence Against Women and Girls (Pacific Partnership) programme will host a webinar on Resilient Futures and Gender-Based Violence in the Blue Pacific.

In collaboration with programme implementation partners – Pacific Community and UN Women the webinar proposes to bring together local partners - to discuss and share work and ways forward for harnessing resilient and violence free Blue Pacific.

This webinar aims to:

• To showcase how partners have adapted to preventing and responding to gender based violence during the pandemic and through other crises situations
• To support continued dialogue around addressing gender based violence in times of crises
• To share innovative ways of working in the GBV space during the current challenges.
